Justine

Born in the small town of Zebulon, North Carolina, Justine grew up in a musical family.  Singing along side her mother Bessie Smith Wilkins, she started her musical career at the age of four. As she began to sing in church and in school plays, her appreciation of gospel music grew.  Her music reflects the musicians that have influenced her all her life; Mahalia Jackson, Gladys Knight, and Shirley Ceasar. Her love of all types of music blends together to create a sound that is unique to Justine. Her contemporary gospel sounds have been described as "anointed, inspiring, and full of soul."
