Playground Academy

Our courses are designed to provide aspiring audio professionals with a formal eduction in audio recording and production. The goal of this course is to prepare students for entry-level positions in the recording industry, as well as providing a head-start for those who wish to pursue a degree in recording arts and sciences. Learn the fundametals of engineering for both studio and live application. The focus will be learning digital audio, microphone types, audio cables, and audio frequencies. Learn how to construct and operate equipment systems designed to engineer and edit audio for music, radio, television, and live events. Students will learn how to critically analyze a recording session from a technical and creative perspective. Each student will recieve hands on training in audio mixing by applying advanced editing and use of effects signal processors.
